Aeromotive EFI Fuel System Kit - 5.0 GPM Brushless Spur Gear Pump

A complete external EFI fuel system built around Aeromotive’s 5.0 GPM brushless spur-gear pump, supplied with the Extreme Flow 2-port EFI regulator and Aeromotive in-line filtration — pump, filtering and pressure control arriving matched and ready to plumb.

What it supports, on Aeromotive’s ratings for this pump:

• Gas: up to 3,400 FWHP naturally aspirated, 2,600 FWHP on forced induction
• E85: up to 2,380 FWHP naturally aspirated, 1,820 FWHP on forced induction
• Methanol: up to 1,190 FWHP naturally aspirated, 910 FWHP on forced induction
• Carbureted gas runs higher again — up to 3,600 FWHP naturally aspirated

The pump. An integral spur-gear pumping mechanism with the brushless controller mounted externally, for cooler fuel and a cleaner install. 90 psi continuous and 150 psi peak including boost, through an ORB-12 inlet and ORB-10 outlet. Lighter and drawing less current at EFI pressures than the traditional Pro-Series pump, with extended service life on methanol and ethanol. It runs on a straight 12–16 VDC supply; on a 16-volt charging system, stepping down to normal 12-volt levels keeps it in its designed range.

The regulator is the Extreme Flow 2-port EFI unit, P/N 13132: a compact two-port body with dual ORB-10 inlet and outlet ports plus an ORB-10 return, a 0.500 in high-flow valve and seat, and dual springs — 30–75 psi base pressure as installed, 75–120 psi with the included high-pressure spring — referencing vacuum and boost 1:1.

Filtration uses Aeromotive in-line filters, including the 10-micron microglass element with ORB-12 ports (P/N 12341). Pleated for maximum surface area, which is what keeps pressure drop low at these flow rates.
