Sniper fuel tanks are designed to meet or exceed the quality of your factory fuel tank. Sniper tanks are steel with a powder coated finish that are manufactured to the oem specifications for your musclecar, truck, or Jeep. These fuel tanks are the perfect companion for your carbureted powerplant or a perfect base for your EFI conversion when installing one of the Holley Muscle Car EFI modules or our Retrofit EFI Pump.

Installation note: • Tank sending unit lock ring is included_x000D_ • Tank straps are not included_x000D_ The GM28A fuel tank is for the 1955-1956 models. The 1957 models used a GM28C and GM28D which included a breather tube near the filler neck location._x000D_ We imagine that this was added to help the filler neck breath when filling the tank._x000D_ _x000D_ This tank is the 28A which will fit all three model years dimensionally. But it does not have the additional breather tube in the tank for the 1957 models.
