DCT/8HP Connector Kit

16-pin connector kit for the MaxxECU DCT and ZF 8HP transmission control connection. This is the plug and pin set you need when you wire a MaxxECU to the gearbox TCU.

MaxxECU controls the GEN1 ZF 8HP 45/70/90 and the BMW DCT (GEN1 E-series and GEN2 F-series) over CAN, driving the stock TCU — no internal wiring or soldering inside the transmission. A custom MaxxECU TCU firmware has to be reflashed with an external tool first.

What that control gives you on an 8HP

• Shift points settable from 1500 to 9000 rpm
• Transbrake with a bump feature, in both M and D, first or second gear
• Kickdown for very fast downshifts
• Virtual clutch and clutch-kick
• Run a Dodge, BMW or SEQ shifter, or use shift emulation with a keypad or a custom shifter
• Max 9000 engine rpm
