8HP Oil Cooler Adapter - N57 and B58 - Type 1

DomiWorks N57 / B58 oil cooler adapter for the 8HP70 N57, 8HP50 B58 and 8HP45 N47. An updated, slimmer, lightweight design that follows the gearbox as closely to the body as possible. It converts the gearbox oil outputs to two AN8 threaded outputs, thread 3/4-16.

Run any ORB8 fitting to whatever output suits your application — AN6, AN8, AN10 and so on. We stock the matching AN8-to-ORB8 connector set as part number 81003001.

Made from high-grade aluminium and 5-axis CNC machined for a smooth look — no bulky straight lines here. Big-bore internal oil passages keep flow up. Anodized black and laser engraved.

DomiWorks reckon it is the best performing, most lightweight and best looking oil cooler adapter on the market.

Fitment

The 8HP70 N57 and 8HP50 B58 have 17 mm bores, offset holes and an M6 mounting bolt. Supplied with the bolt and O-rings.

After 3D scanning a lot of gearboxes, DomiWorks found that almost every one had its own dimensions — different bore sizes, different mounting bolt size, offset holes, no offset at all. That is why there are three different designs. This one is verified on:

• 8HP45 N54 / N55
• 8HP70 N57
• 8HP70 N63
• 8HP75 B57
• 8HP90 N73 / N74

It most likely fits other BMW 8HP gearboxes too. If you are not sure which size adapter you need, get in touch and we will work it out with you.

Important: transmission fluid should not exceed 140°C.
