The coils are sealed with a high temperature epoxy for shock and vibration resistance as well as excellent thermal conductivity. The spark plug spring contact is made from stainless steel, with a ferrite lug to reduce EMI\/RFI noise\nwhile the boots are molded from a high temperature silicone compound for superior heat resistance up to 550 degrees F.
